Holly MacArthur (she/her/they/them)

Who do I admire?

Although I admire so many people for different reasons, I keep coming back to…..Madonna! She has been a true inspiration for me from such a young age, for her creativity, fighting spirit and for living out her dreams. Before I knew I was a member of the LGBT+ community, I knew she represented something I aspired to be like, and it is only as an adult that I recognise just how much she has done for our community.

Why did I become a coach?

I have always had a fascination with the human journey through life and, ultimately, how we can become happy. This has taken me on a journey to understand myself and the wider collective human condition and psyche. I discovered that I felt that much of the time, limited ways of thinking are holding us back from fulfilling our potential and our dreams. I believe that there is another way, that something has to change from the dogmatic way of thinking society is currently chained to. I love that Transformative Coaching aligns with these values and through Coaching, I love facilitating this journey for others.

How would you describe your coaching style?

In three words: deep, empathic and transformative. As a Coach, I will hold a safe and present space for you to explore and empower your life, and transform what seems impossible, into possible. I believe Coaching is a ‘personal revolution’ and to facilitate this, we will dig deep, unlock emotions and limiting belief systems and we will transform what is holding you back. With 40 years of experience in the Performing Arts Sector, I can guarantee that we will be playful, get creative and enable you to write your own life story.
